Thriving in Medicine: Practical Wellbeing Strategies, Self-Determination and Sustainable Performance | Attendee Registration

Hello, Kia ora

Welcome to the registration page for the Thriving in Medicine: Practical Wellbeing Strategies, Self-Determination and Sustainable Performance webinar, which will be held on Thursday, 9 April 2026.

This webinar is part of the RACP Wellbeing Advocates series, which explores practical strategies to support doctor wellbeing and foster healthier medical workplaces.

In this session, we focus on self-determination, self-care, and positive psychology, and how these approaches relate to doctor wellbeing and sustainable performance. Developing a strong sense of agency, aligning actions with personal values, and adopting practical wellbeing strategies can help doctors navigate challenges while continuing to thrive.

Join Dr Susannah Ward and Dr David Beaumont as they facilitate a discussion with Amir Salem, Clinical Psychologist at the Mind Body Innovation Centre, and Dr Kathryn Hutt, GP and Medical Director of Doctors’ Health NSW.

Together, they will share practical tools, insights, and real-world examples to help doctors strengthen self-determination, develop sustainable habits, and support their own wellbeing.

The session will conclude with practical takeaways and a live Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to reflect on strategies that can support both personal wellbeing and a more sustainable culture in medicine.
