RACP & RACS Member Engagement Evening “Starting out in Private Practice” | Attendee Registration

Hello, Kia ora,

Welcome to the registration site for the RACP & RACS Member Engagement Evening “Starting out in Private Practice” to be held on Wednesday, 11 November 2026 | 6.30pm to 8.30pm ACDT at The Acacia Room at the Terrace Hotel, Adelaide.

Thinking about transitioning to private practice?

The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) are pleased to invite you to this joint event, a practical session that will help you understand the key financial and business responsibilities that come with making the move to private practice, from choosing the right business structure and managing service fees to navigating tax, GST and BAS obligations.

You’ll also gain practical insights into tax planning, maintaining effective records, preparing for bank finance and taking control of your superannuation. Designed to make the financial side of private practice easier to understand, the presentation uses real-world examples to help you begin your journey with greater clarity and confidence. The session will be presented by Tom Laundy, William Buck Business Advisory Partner & you’ll also hear a college update from RACS and RACP.

Please RSVP by 23 October 2026 to secure your spot, as space is limited. Registration is FREE.
