Fossil fuels are harming health, driving the climate crisis, deepening inequities, and continuing the colonial control of Indigenous lands and peoples. The health evidence is overwhelming – from air pollution linked to millions of excess deaths each year, to worsening food, water and environmental security.

While global bodies continue calling on urgent emissions reductions, action has not yet matched the scale of the risk. A rapid transition to renewable energy is essential and it must prioritise health equity, Indigenous justice, and planetary health.

Join us on Tuesday, 21 April for the official launch of this important Position Statement.
